The humans behind Dellwood Constructions

Hey there, welcome to our little corner of the internet.  We're super excited to have you here, and we thought we'd take a moment to introduce ourselves and give you a peek behind the scenes at Dellwood Constructions. 

After a few massive years knee-deep in work, renos, small kids and grieving the loss of loved ones, we took off in 2023 to travel around Australia with our two daughters. 

Inspired by our adventure and the desire to spend more time together pursuing our passion, we've built Dellwood Constructions on a foundation of family, fun and respect. 

Steve is a carpenter and builder, with 20 years experience working in the industry. He enjoys the process of working with clients, subbies and consultants as well as the creativity that comes with finding innovative solutions to complex build problems.. Mel's background is in business planning and business improvement projects and she loves planning aesthetically pleasing, functional spaces.

When you work with us, we’ll listen to your ideas, answer your questions and work with you every step of the way to make sure your project turns out better than you imagined.  We’ll be honest with you about what’s possible and what’s not, and offer alternatives to ensure you get the best design and product for your budget.
